Queer Colouring Book: We Belong in Nature
We Belong in Nature is a project to celebrate the way the natural world accepts and affirms queer people. Through telling their stories, eight queer individuals reflect on their experiences outdoors, how that interacts with their identity and what it means to observe yourself as belonging in the natural world.
These stories exemplify the importance of making space for 2SLGBTQIA+ people and allowing them to show up authentically, not just to provide them these experiences but also to benefit the spaces themselves. Diversity is integral to the systems of nature and community.
Proceeds from this book go to supporting programs for marginalized people on South Vancouver Island.
